What is Sudoku Cube?
A Rubik's-Cube-style toy whose stickers are digits — twist the layers until every face shows 1–9 exactly once. Here are the rules in full:
- A physical cube with the digits 1–9 printed across the nine stickers of each of its six faces.
- Twist the layers, as on a Rubik's Cube, until every face shows the digits 1–9 exactly once.
- The digits need not be in order — each face just has to be a complete 1–9 set.
What a Sudoku Cube looks like
A Sudoku Cube (or Sudokube) is a physical toy shaped exactly like a Rubik's Cube, but its stickers are the digits 1–9 instead of colours. You twist the layers until each of the six faces shows a complete 1–9 set. Here is one solved face.
One face of the cube holds 1–9 exactly once — and all six faces must be satisfied on the same twistable object.
Both share the "1–9 with no repeat" goal, but the Cube is solved by rotating a 3D object rather than deducing digits — the most mechanical of Sudoku's cousins, closer to a Rubik's Cube than to a pencil-and-paper grid.
